Yay on the Garden Grocer order. We had a great experience with the the time we used them, might do that again this next trip. Bill likes having his Mt. Dew with him.

I love all your past pictures. Your son is so handsome, he is going to be a heartbreaker! The dancing pictures on Jordan's PTR had me seriously giggling outloud. I love how outgoing you are, I wish I was like that.

I would also be livid about the SUV, I would be telling the sales lady that it is great they are getting me another car, but they need to take this lemon now and give you another SUV to take on the trip. I would be afraid to take it. I wouldn't leave the dealership with it after I took it in on Monday, I would tell them they needed to give me a different vehicle until my new SUV came in. Your time should not be taken up with these problems, this is ridiculous! I am so sorry you are dealing with this.

Thank you about DS. Yes, the little girls love him. I think it's his long eyelashes that they fall in love with at first. He is sooo not ready for that yet.....thank God!! Right now he's like "EEEWW!!!"

I haven't always been like this. There was a good part of my life where I stood in the corner and wished that I could be more outspoken......ok, maybe not the outspoken part. I've always been sort of outspoken. I guess "brave" would be the word to put on it. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe some of it has to do with DS??? Before him I always worried about what other people thought. Now, I feel like we only have one life and why not??!! Who cares if other people think I'm weird. It's really not as big a deal as I thought it was before.

Ah yes, the stupid car....... I'm not sure which way to go with this on Monday. Part of me wants to do what you said but I'm affraid it will somehow mess up what the lady already has going. She is having a brand new one built with everything I said I wanted in it. If I take one off the lot.....which by the way, they are lacking.....then I may not get everything that I had in the other one. I want to make sure I'm getting all that I had and nothing less. It hasn't broken down on me .....YET! But, it may be coming. I don't think this car will make it past the 3 year warranty. We did take it on a 5 hour trip in December when we went to ride that Polar Express. We drove 5 hrs there and 5 hrs home. It made that horrific noise over the speakers during that trip. They just changed the amplifier for that problem. And as annoying as it may be if the DVD player or radio goes out, I would rather that than the car dying out.

Bottom line, I"m going to pull her aside and have a serious talk with her. She needs to give me some sort of confirmation that the car coming in IS MINE. Whether it be in writing or by the dealership owner telling me so. I also want a confirmation that they will tow the vehicle from wherever we are if it does break down. Not to another dealership, but allllll the way back to here. And I ALSO want confirmation that they will be footing the bill for the rental car....of equal size to my vehicle....to get us home should that happen.

I did talk to her today about everything. If my car dies out on vacation they will tow it to the nearest dealership and I will get a rental to drive home. They will have the vehicle fixed and then have someone drive it back here.

I got to see the actual paperwork for the new vehicle order today and our name IS on it and everything. The dealership owner is aware of it all. I feel so much better now.

It is a Yukon. But I had a Yukon before this one and it was great!! I loved it and there was never anything wrong with it. I only traded it in because they were having a deal on the 2009 models...... 0% financing for 72 months. We were actually able to lower our monthly note and get an upgrade to a newer vehicle with that deal. The problem is that the newer model is just a lemon. Plain and simple. We just got the black sheep of the Yukon family, I believe.

Good news is that the one they have ordered is a 2010 model. So, they do seem like they are trying to make things right. I just hate that it's taking so long and that I have to take this car on the trip.

I have to bring ours in on Wednesday for the recall for the camry. also to get a new navigation and radio system because ours just plainly sucks.
