For some of our guests, who plan on staying off-site, can you tell me about parking fees and parking at DTD? thanks....

I'm getting ready to plan, plan, plan!

We are still having some guests look at off-site, so there could be a few rooms at SoG that will be open....huh?huh? Wanna come to the party?

It seems that some of my dh's family will go in november, so we may have a weekend trip thrown in here, I'm just looking at it as the perfect souvie scouting trip if it happens!

I'm planning on making folders for all the guests and welcome bags--so while I'm recuperating, I'm searching high and low for ideas to include..what would you pack for someone who has not been for 4-5 years and isn't crazy about like we are???

So that latest from dh family is that they want to go in the summer when ALL the kids are out of school.
But my dh doesn't end this tour until mid-july, can you say freaking hot? (lovingly said) they are insane people, and why they can't just come for New Years and our anniversary is really bugging me.

other than that, our bestest friends don't think they want to stay on property in december, people-people what are you thinking?

so my plans are so up in the air, my head is spinning, and on top of the slow recovery and our disney store at myrtle beach closing

I am not a happy camper this month. sigh.

off to read some trip reports of happy times!

Yup, it looks lik they are moving forward with a family reunion type trip for Mid-June. DH's parents want to take their three sons and all the grandkids (us wives are just there for carrying things of course). dh tried to explain to them that reservations need to have been made um, last year, and dining in december but they don't get it. And really, where can 13+ people eat together?

dh wants me to make a binder and plan for "our" week like we usually do, and then let his parents know (gently) the plan, and then let them coax the other brothers to follow it.
so i am scrambling to come up with park days and adr's and we are definately taking the afternoon break - can younderstand why i expect this to be a meltdown?

if this goes any further it will probably become a mini tr, but for now i'm keeping the plans together - cause my dh has the bright idea that one, we might get a bounceback offer in one of the five rooms he can use, and two, that we will upgrade whatever ticket his parents get everyone to be a 10 day no expiration to use when we go back in december ((smart move))

it might not be too bad to get adr's. you never know.

The Disney Store is at Broadway at the Beach, but it will be closed when you come. It is "supposed" to close Sunday night after Feb 14th sales.
